I
f you've ever experienced the disap-
pointment of an underwhelming hot
dog, a bag of stale chips and a flat
beer during a round of golf, you
know just how much food and beverage
can mean to an enjoyable day on the
course. Monarch Beach Golf Links'
award-winning Monarch Café places a
premium on ensuring that golfers' culi-
nary desires are met, whether they're en-
joying a sandwich at the turn or relaxing
over drinks after 18 holes.
Director of Food and Beverage Katy
Gorelick said some of the recent specials
offered at the Monarch Café have in-
cluded Smoked Pork Tenderloin with
Honey Mustard on a Brioche Bun and a
Pork Belly BLT.
That's just the tip of the iceberg, too,
as the Café will offer monthly barbecue
specials, regional craft beers, and a cock-
tail of the month throughout the year.
"One of our biggest goals is to give
our guests something special and memo-
rable," Gorelick said. "We want to en-
courage our guests to continue coming
back by offering ever-changing specials
that are as awesome as they are unique."
Some of the other activities guests
can look forward to at Monarch Café in-
clude monthly events. The Café will be
hosting a February margarita event, a St.
Patrick's Day celebration, and plans addi-
tional timely golf and non-golf events
throughout the year. Regular visitors
should also be on the lookout for infor-
mation on specialty dinners and smaller,
more intimate experiences that will be
held on the course's ocean holes.
"We want to offer unique, memorable
events that will express what Monarch
Beach is all about," Gorelick added.
