M
onarch Beach Golf Links has
a new program to help golfers
save money on their tee
times – and a whole lot more.
The Links Card, launched at the begin-
ning of 2021, replaced Monarch Beach's
previous Crown Club and Royal Crown Club
programs with a simpler, amenity-packed
offering that golfers can sign up for now
and enjoy through March 31, 2022.
Available for $449 ($399 if you were a
member of the previous program), the Links
Card allows golfers to receive 30-50 percent
off public guest fees – anytime.
In addition, Cardholders receive flexible,
reduced rates for up to three guests every
time they tee it up.
Other benefits include a 14-day booking
window, a complimentary twilight round, a
30-minute introductory golf lesson, $25
rental fees for Golfboards and Phat scooters
with advance reservations, the ability to par-
ticipate in Cardholder-only tournaments and
events at reduced rates, discounts on food
and beverage at all F&B outlets at Monarch
Beach Golf Links, and the best price on
golf balls, clubs, bags and shoes at the
Golf & Lifestyle Retail Store.
Also, Cardholders can participate
in OB Rewards and earn points on
green fees, lessons and merchan-
dise purchases that can be used
toward free rounds of golf.
The program includes a host of
other advantages and incentives as
well, but the biggest goal, according
to Monarch Beach Golf Links PGA
General Manager Eric Lohman, is to
offer a better quality of product in
the future.
"We'll do that by reducing play,
having longer intervals between tee
times, and focusing on course con-
ditions and service," he said.
