S
ummer's end is near, but
Monarch Café is still dishing
out all its warm-weather fa-
vorites. From refreshing salads and
sandwiches to fresh-off-the-grill
burgers and brats, it's a tasty spot to
enjoy the sunshine.
"Monarch Café offers a new sea-
sonal menu every few months uti-
lizing the freshest ingredients," said
Kenny Haap, Food and Beverage
Manager at Monarch Beach Golf
Links. "The menu features
items that can be made
quickly and can easily be
eaten on the go, in your
golf cart or on the patio."
Favorites include the
50/50 Burger, Chicken Caesar
Wrap, Beer Brats, Chicken Curry
Salad, and freshly cooked Turkey
Sandwich. Other favorite items in-
clude the flatbread, sliders and ahi
poke. And, of course, there are the
specialty drinks and microbrew
beers.
In addition to the great food and
beverages, Monarch Café features
picturesque views of the ocean and
golf course, a nearby walking path
to the beach, a friendly and engag-
ing staff, and contemporary, beach-
themed music playing on the patio.
Throughout summer, Monarch
Café is offering daily specials,
Happy Hours, and a Microbrew of
the Month, in addition to serving
fare for group golf events.
"With our spacious first tee lo-
cated next to the Monarch Café, we
are also able to offer group golf and
non-golf guests the option to enjoy
catered al fresco dining right on the
tee box," Haap said. "We offer full
food and beverage options prepared
out of the Monarch Café for break-
fast, BBQs, specialty dinners, and
appetizer and cocktail receptions."
