here's an unofficial slogan at the Monarch Beach Resort that
says the luxury beachfront destination is "Your coastal club – a
place where you belong." That couldn't be more relevant as the
Dana Point gem has been renovated over the last year to en-
hance the guest experience while maintaining a unique charm that makes
each visitor feel as though they're in their own personal beach house.
"We are thrilled to welcome guests, members and neighbors to our
thoughtfully reimagined resort that offers a perfect balance between lux-
ury and approachability, and captures the allure of Dana Point's
majesty," Vice President and General Manager of Monarch Beach Resort
Ian Pullan said upon the unveiling of the $40 million project over the
summer.
That sweeping makeover includes newly appointed, restyled guest
rooms, an expanded pool area with separate adult and family pools, pri-
vate cabanas featuring personal music audio systems, fully stocked mini
bars and more. There are five new dining concepts throughout the resort,
from the casual yet upscale Club 19 at the golf clubhouse to the inspired
and creative Mediterranean offerings of AVEO Table + Bar, and every-
thing in between. A new lobby lounge named 33° North introduces
