t The Academy at Monarch Beach,
you can do more than just fix your
golf game – you can mend your
mind, body and soul.
In addition to a team of PGA-qualified
golf professionals offering private lessons,
the Academy serves up a full menu of pro-
grams where golfers can work on every-
thing from their full swing and the
fundamentals to the mental, spiritual and
physical aspects that often get
overlooked.
Here's a look at some of the
ways the Academy can pro-
vide you with valuable game-
improvement opportunities:
> Complimentary Cardholder lessons
When you sign up for one of Monarch
Beach Golf Links' Cardholder programs,
such as the Crown Club and Royal Crown
Club, you can take advantage of compli-
mentary introductory lessons. Crown Club
Cardholders receive a free 20-minute ses-
sion, while Royal Crown Cardholders re-
ceive 45 minutes. Guests just have to reach
out to the golf professional of their choice
or call or visit the golf shop to set it up.
> Corporate Clinics
The Academy has the ability to cus-
tomize a program for those vital business
professionals, whether it's a C-level execu-
tive, VIP, top sales person or a 144-or-more
person gathering. Events can include golf,
hospitality, and instruction from numerous
PGA-trained instructors, golf fitness ex-
perts, club fitters and Miraval Spa Mind-
fulness mental coaches to help facilitate a
fun learning environment.
> Playing lessons
When playing a round of golf it would
be nice to have a PGA-trained instructor at
your side, and that's what you get with the
playing lessons at the Academy. But that's
not all. Attendees also learn a proper
warm-up routine and can take advantage
of rental clubs and shoes. The lessons can
be 3 to 18 holes and can last from one to
four-and-a-half hours.
> Golf Physicals
If you're in a rut and posting scores
above your expectations, then a Golf
Physical (360 Golf Evaluation & Coaching
Session) can help provide honest feedback
about your game. The physical includes an
assessment of your abilities, goals, physi-
cality and mental approach. Then, an in-
struction program is tailored to your needs,
whether it's working with a trainer to im-
prove your conditioning or a club fitter to
ensure you're using the proper equipment.
